How many devices would you connect to an access point? 64? 128? 192? We have you covered however you have designed your AP. Each box can generate up to 256 clients. You could also connect each client to a different Access Point. You also have the freedom to connect over the air. In short, WiCheck gives you the flexibility to test the infrastructure however you have decided to put it together.

One of the challenges of buying test equipment is the cost of upgrading beyond a given scale. We addressed this challenge by making our solution completely modular. One can never be sure what settings would each user have, especially on public networks. WiCheck lets you control every relevant MAC level parameter letting you understand the impact it would have on the infrastructure and the user experience. Each of the different groups that your configure within a single box could have different configurations for the clients.

There are a security standards a network absolutely needs to support and WiCheck helps you test all of those. It is now quite easy to check how well the infrastructure responds to positive and negative scenarios when 100s of devices try to log in simultaneously. WiCheck supports all commonly used security options from WEP to WPA2 and 802.1x.

With the growth in secured content within networks, captive portals have grown in importance. WiCheck provides you a simple approach to verify the scalability of the infrastructure, response time on connections, and rate of connections. Future Proof Testing
With more BYOD devices connected to the network and the use of Mobile to WiFi handoff to handle the growth in traffic, it has become critical to see how well systems can support SIM based authentication. The test simulates the most common use case seen in the field and is targeted at verifying stability, security, performance and responsiveness of the access point and the infrastructure through extended hours of use.
WiCheck covers almost every possible security protocol required in an enterprise WiFi environment from WEP to WPA-2 to 802.1x. It also covers the EAPSIM security which is important in BYOD scenarios. You can also test responsiveness, correctness and scalability of captive portal authentication mechanisms by making minimal changes to the built in verification script.
To manage the infrastructure securely, it is necessary to have absolutely control over which devices are allowed to connect and stay connected. This requires tests of the ability of the controller to force disconnects / reject requests from hundreds of devices simultaneously. WiCheck’s ability to faithfully reproduce the behavior of real devices helps you verify this scenario quickly
For infrastructure vendors, DFS channel tests are critical. To test the connection of 100s of clients on a DFS designated channel and transition of those connected devices to an alternate channel are difficult scenarios to achieve. WiCheck will validate how well the devices can reconnect to a new band. In fact. WiCheck can verify such band transitions 100s of times if necessary
